Hey,

This is my very first picture I draw "free-handed", so without an template (blueprint on my tablet idk lol

) or something like this. As you can read in my bio, I'm veeeeeeery new to drawing at all and I'm in an very early learning phase, because I really never draw things as hobby/activity - only when i had to (school) - in my life. The only thing that really helped is knowing photoshop quite well.

I got the expression and a general idea how to draw korra this way from some youtube video, i don't actually can find the link sry sry sry.

I would love to meet some people here who could give me some advice, I'm very inquisitive and want to learn how to draw similar things, new poses, a whole character (not only the face), maybe background art and so on and so on... I like the minimalistic drawing style, because I think it's the easiest to learn for me.
This is my new hobby, I'm not a professional!

Why Korra? I loooove the old and the new Avatar series, I think she is a very great character and a good starting point for me, thats all

Wow... that looks like the real person. One day, you're gonna draw some crazy awesome cartoon thing, and everyone will be like "Wah is dis?" And then you'll be just saying to them "It's mih life." And then like a few days later everyone will call you a genius.
